Call For Tutorial Proposals

Extreme 2000 will be held in Montreal, Canada, from August 15-18, 2000, preceded by two days of tutorials on Sunday and Monday, August 13-14. The Extreme 2000 Committee is soliciting tutorial proposals now so that information about the tutorials can be included in early conference publicity. We hope to field a great set of varied tutorials this year.

If you are interested in presenting a tutorial at Extreme 2000, please send the following information to the conference secretariat at: Extreme@mulberrytech.com via e-mail (or fax to 301/315-8285) before April 14, 2000:

About the Tutorial:

  • Title
  • Expected audience (managers, users, technical experts or others: please specify)
  • Prerequisite skills for participants
  • Abstract (50 to 100 words describing the tutorial, for use in publicity)
  • Synopsis (approx. 1000-3000 words describing tutorial goals and outline, including a syllabus and schedule)
  • Previous venues at which this tutorial has been presented
  • Technology requirements for presentation (overhead transparency projector, pc projector, etc.)
  • Technology requirements for participants (if you have hands-on sessions)

Your compensation for teaching a tutorial is free registration for the full conference and a copy of the conference proceedings.
