
XML 2000 Tutorial
Instructors
- MOST
CRITICAL: To provide our attendees with the best
information possible, we are promising to handout a
"complete" tutorial handout as part of their
registration package. Therefore, all tutorial instructors
are asked to provide a full tutorial handout for each
of their respective tutorials. Tutorials
should be submitted in one of three ways: 1) Camera-ready
2) PDF or 3) Power Point. GCA will take the responsibility
of duplicating, binding and shipping them directly to
Washington, DC. All tutorial handouts are due no later
than November 1, 2000.

immediately, if you are unable to provide your handout
at anytime. Also, please be aware that GCA will NOT
be able to provide ANY on-site duplication. Don't forget
to include your contact information and current biography
in your handout materials.
- Audio
Visual- All of the session rooms will be equipped
with the following audio visual equipment: a video projection
unit, a screen, and a microphone. You must supply your
own laptop if you will be using one for your presentation.
Please indicate the type of computer (IBM or MAC) and
also the resolution needed, on the form below. If your
presentation requires any additional equipment other
than what is listed, please detail on the form and we
will do what we can to accommodate your request.
- Registration
- All instructors will receive a free VIP pass to
the XML 2000 conference (this does not include attendance
at additional tutorials or Special Interest Day programs).
You must still fill out a registration form. Speaker
registration information and form is
located here. The speaker registration deadline
is November 27, 2000. If you have any questions

- Hotel
Information - The
special hotel group rate cutoff date has past.
Please
make your hotel reservation(s)
as soon as possible to take advantage of the conference
rate. Rooms are now selling on a space by space availability.
- Tutorial
Timing - Every full-day, two-day or half day tutorial
will follow the enclosed structure throughout each day(s):
Morning tutorials begin at 9:00 am, break at 10:30 am,
and close with the lunch at 12:30 pm. Each afternoon
tutorial begins at 2:00 pm, breaks at 3:30 pm, and ends
at 5:30 pm. The same timing will be used for full and
two day tutorials.

Speaker Commitment -
To ensure that we have your most current contact information,
biographies, and a/v requirements for your presentation,
we ask that you please complete the following Speaker
Commitment and Authorization Form. If you have already
provided this information in your original paper submission,
please note that, and we will pull that information
accordingly.
If not, please provide that information, so we may keep
your information updated in all the XML 2000 onsite
program booklets.
