SUBMISSION
DEADLINE IS JULY 7, 2000
All
interested parties are invited to submit proposals
for presentations at XML 2000. Papers addressing the
issues outlined in our tentative tracks will be of
particular interest, however, other related topics
will be considered.
Presentations
will be in 45 minute blocks of time with 30-35 minutes
allowed for the presentation and 10-15 minutes allowed
for questions. Additionally, all speakers must submit
a written paper tagged in XML by September 29th. XML
authoring software will be provided. Further instructions
will follow upon acceptance of the presentation.
Web
and CD-ROM versions of the proceedings will be produced
for the conference.
Submissions
must be sent electronically to papersxml2000@xmlusa.net,
in a clear text format containing the following key
fields:

•
Presenter’s Name
•
Job Title and Affiliation
•
Address (including street, city, state, country, postal
code)
•
E-mail/Phone/Fax
•
1-2 Paragraph Biography
•
Abstract (not less than 500 words)
•
Brief Description (3-4 sentences for preliminary program)
•
Track/Audience (select the most appropriate track/audience)
*One
discounted fee of $250 will be available for each
speaker, provided that the written paper, tagged in
XML is submitted by September 29th.
CALL
FOR TUTORIALS
Proposal
submissions may be designed for a half-day, full-day,
and/or two-day tutorials. A tutorial handout is a
requirement, and must be submitted by November 1st.
