B2B Customer Relationships: Taking them OnlineSecurely
Robert Corson, Senior Strategist, B2B Markets,
Entrust Technologies
Today, businesses typically use paper and fax
forms of purchase orders, receipts, bills of
lading and invoices to achieve accountability
and trust in online Business-to-Business (B2B)
sales and transactions. In order for B2B to
grow, auditable, electronic versions of these
processes are required to achieve business efficiencies
and to satisfy fiscal and legal requirements.
In order to provide the accountability, auditing
and integrity that will speed the ability to
establish online B2B relationships, organizations
are turning to digital certificates and public-key
infrastructures (PKI) to help them. Find out
more in this session.

Building Better User Interfaces for E-Commerce
Applications
Steve Francis, Vice President, Product Development,
ActionPoint
While computing technologies enable Internet-base
electronic commerce, it's peoplebuyers,
sellers, partners, competitorswho actually
drive commerce interactions. This means that
a company's e-commerce environment must accommodate
two kinds of connections: those that connect
one computer system or application to another,
either internally or externally; and those that
connect people with processing such as submitting
an RFQ to a marketplace or tracking an order
through fulfillment. To date, companies have
focused primarily on the first type of connections,
using integration and process automation technology.
This session presents solutions that allow people
to interact efficiently and effectively with
computerized business processes.
