in general, and then discusses two specific
architectures for achieving this. In the process,
he also addresses what SOAP is and how SOAP

access using SOAP and demonstrates its use with
a real-world application.

Forget XML! Implement B2B Solutions in the
Virtual Transaction Layer

to the XML-only approach to B2B. While transforming
legacy data into XML may be useful, it is far
too costly and even with new XML middleware
solutions, too technically challenging. The
author does not believe that the warring XML
vocabularies will find peaceful compromise quickly
and provides an alternative, based on emerging
