Nianjun Zhou

Mr. Nianjun, Zhou, Originally from Beijing, China, has been working with Webahead team of Internet Division since June, 1997. Before joining IBM, he had been a research scientist from New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and before that a research scientist at Beijing University, Beijing, China. Mr. Zhou received his Master Degree of Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute of Troy, New York. He is Professional Engineer of New York State, licenced in 1996. After joining IBM, he has worked on serveral projects related to XML-based content management, relational database and XML object transformation, news applications, web crawling and taxonomy, employee directory service, and personalization. His interests include using computer technologies to develop new applications which can enhance the efficiency of knowledge sharing and information management in general.

Chris Ziener

As Director of Noonetime, Chris is responsible for the continued growth of the company but also continues to be active as a project manager, programmer, application developer, and Webmaster. He is especially experienced in working with structured information, specifically XML and SGML, and Web site development. With Noonetime, Chris has developed several commercial products, including the e-qualizer - an e-commerce solution for small to medium-sized companies, XML Xtract - a registered QuarkXTension that converts Quark documents to XML, and the ADL Assistant - an web-based training platform for distance learning. Chris is the contributing technical book reviewer for Library Journal, the Web Technologies Director for Reviewnet.net, and is currently writing a book on implementing XML solutions. In his years of experience, Chris has conducted analysis sessions, architected corporate-wide publishing and commerce systems, created DTDs, performed programming, application configuration, and systems integration. He speaks at major industry conferences and instructs tutorials for various companies.
