deepX to
generate a suite of Electronic Proceedings for the
XML Europe 2001
The
Graphic Communications Association (GCA) has chosen
deepX to generate a suite of Electronic Proceedings
for the XML Europe 2001 conference in Berlin (21-25
May 2001). These proceedings will be distributed on
CD-ROM to each delegate and will also be available
from the conference website.
Having
delivered Electronic Proceedings and Conference Schedules
for similar events in the past, "deepX is a first-rate
choice to ensure success," according to Pamela
Gennusa, CEO of Ontopia
and conference chair of XML Europe 2001. Commenting
on prior collaborations with deepX, Gennusa said "We
liked their working methods, which kept us informed
of progress throughout, and the end results exceeded
our expectations. The results were terrific and we
received very positive feedback from our delegates."
With
conformance to the latest publishing standards and
formats, deepX's electronic publications offer industry-leading
portability, reliability and scalability. This year's
conference suite will contain XHTML as well as printable
(PDF) versions of all papers accepted by the conference
committee. Supplementary electronic formats are also

In
addition to the electronic proceedings, an AvantGo
Conference Channel will be available for use on wireless
devices such as PDAs. This channel will contain the
full conference schedule, abstracts of all presentations,
late-breaking news and other relevant information
about the venue and city.
