Jo Rabin - Jo Rabin is CTO of Reuters Wireless Services. He has fulfilled various technology related roles in the course of his career at Reuters which he joined in 1987. Jo began his career at Software Sciences where he was a software engineer. He then became Network Services Manager at Telecom Gold, a subsidiary of British Telecom which supplied email and other services. Prior to his appointment to his present role in Reuters Jo was based in Palo Alto, California, representing Reuters technological interests on the west coast of the USA. As a result of his involvement with a number of news and standards related projects in California, Jo initiated the project that ultimately became the NewsML initiative at the IPTC.
