Benjamin Jung - Benjamin Jung is a PhD student and Research Assistant in the Knowledge and Data Engineering Group at Trinity College Dublin. Before he came to Ireland he graduated from Technische Universitaet Muenchen in 1996 with a masters degree in computer science and theoretical medicine. He is involved in two major European Medical Informatics projects (Synapses, SynEx), where he works in the Electronic Healthcare Record Architecture group. Within the EU-project SynEx, he is the Technical Team Leader for Trinity College Dublin and additionally chairs the SynExML task-force which deals with the development of a common DTD for the exchange of Electronic Patient Records (EPR). He is also a member of the CEN/TC251 XML-Taskforce and co-founder of the local XML working group in the computer science department of Trinity College Dublin.
