Daniel Backhaus - Daniel Backhaus has nearly 10 years of consulting and business development experience in information technology, structured document processing, SGML, XML, e-business and the Internet. Prior to joining Schemantix, Dan played a key role in helping Proxicom, a leading global e-business consultancy, establish a European presence, first in Munich, Germany and then in London. Prior to that, Dan held positions with Chrystal Software, SPX Corporation and Syseca, the systems integration division of Thomson-CSF. Dan holds a BS Degree in international management from Arizona State University and an international MBA from the European University in Montreux, Switzerland. His hobbies include skiing, bicycling and spending time with his baby daughter, Jenifer Maret.
