Biography
Patrice Ossona de Mendez - Patrice Ossona de Mendez is affiliated with Centre d'Analyse et de Mathématiques Sociales (CAMS)Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) as well as Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). He wrote a PhD thesis in Mathematics and Computer Science ("Orientations Bipolaires", EHESS, 1994). Patrice is a researcher in the "Taxiplanie" team (UMR8557 CNRS), mainly concerned with applied theoretical researches on graph representation (algebraic and topological properties of graphs) and automatic graph drawing for industry.
He is co-author of Public Implementation of a Graph Algorithm Library and Editor (Pigale) (http://www.ehess.fr/centres/cams/person/pom/pigale.html), contributors of the GPL Pliant programming environment (http://pliant.cx/) and author of more than 10 papers in the field of Topological Graph Theory.
