Matthew Gertner - Matthew Gertner joined Schemantix in 1998 as co-founder, bringing nearly 10 years of management-level experience and an impressive track record of turning promising new technologies into innovative products. Prior to joining Schemantix, Mr. Gertner was Director of Internet Technologies at POET Software, a leading vendor of data management and supplier-enablement solutions. His achievements at POET included leading the design and development of POET Web Factory, one of the first web application development systems, as well as managing the development of POET CMS, a SGML/XML content management system. As a widely known authority on XML technologies, Mr. Gertner is the author of numerous articles and a frequent speaker at industry events. He received degrees in Computer Science and Linguistics from University of Pennsylvania.
