Biography

Dr. Stanley Guan - Dr. Stanley Guan received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in 1991. He started his career in the industry by leading a group of people implementing a C compiler parser in 1983. Since then, he was actively involved in the research of defining API's for applications and implementing industry standards in various system projects. He has published 6 technical papers in various conferences. Currently, he is working as the Principal Member of Technical Staff for the Oracle Corp, where he is responsible for the core XML implementation and its integration with Oracle9i database.
