Biography

Robin La Fontaine - Robin La Fontaine has a degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, a Masters degree in Computer Science and is a Chartered Engineer. Robin is a member of the SGML/STEP Harmonisation Working Group within ISO and an author of the ISO standard 10303-28 "Representation of EXPRESS Schemas and Data in XML". He works as a consultant in the use of XML for engineering data, specializing in developing comparators and delta formats for XML data. He has been project manager of several European research projects including the STEPWISE project and the XML/EDI European Pilot Project.
