Biography

Doug Tidwell - Doug Tidwell is a Senior Programmer at IBM. His job as a Cyber Evangelist is, amazingly enough, to travel around the world and give useful stuff away to people. His primary role is presenting new technologies to users and helping them figure out how (or if) to solve business problems with them. He was a speaker at the first XML conference in 1997, and has been working with markup languages since the Eisenhower Administration. He has a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Georgia.
