Biography

Nianjun, Zhou - Mr. Nianjun, Zhou, Originally from Beijing, China, has been working with Webahead team of Internet Division since June, 1997. Before joining IBM, he had been a research scientist from New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and before that a research scientist at Beijing University, Beijing, China. Mr. Zhou received his Master Degree of Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute of Troy, New York. He is Professional Engineer of New York State, licenced in 1996. After joining IBM, he has worked on serveral projects related to XML-based content management, relational database and XML object transformation, news applications, web crawling and taxonomy, employee directory service, and personalization. His interests include using computer technologies to develop new applications which can enhance the efficiency of knowledge sharing and information management in general.
