Biography

Jeff Milton - Jeff Milton has been pushing the envelope of the Internet for 23 years. He has focused on integrating the Internet and telecommunications into the way people live, act and communicate. In the early days of the Internet, Jeff worked primarily on improving network infrastructures and founded an ISP outside New York City and was active in lobbying to change the antiquated New York telecommuncations laws. In 1989 he founded Floating Point Consultants, a computer graphics and telecommunications company, and the Wide Area Educational Network Association, a New York State 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization for the purpose of bringing education to the Internet. Soon after he founded one of the first eCommerce businesses immediatly after the government turned the Internet over to the private sector by partnering with the nations college campus marketing firm. He joined IBM's Internet Technology Group to work on the challenging task of live content, content management and personalization. Projects included the IBM international corporate directory, 'BluePages', personalization, and the Franklin XML publishing system. Jeff left IBM to take on the role of Principal Technologist at Razorfish, where he developed newand efficient wireless and web delivery solutions.
