Technical
Program Strongest Ever at XML 2001 Conference and Exposition
Conference
to feature more than 170 sessions
ALEXANDRIA,
VA (Novenber 28, 2001) - A record-setting 170 technical sessions
will be presented this December at XML 2001, the world's leading
XML conference and exposition.
"This
year's event represents one of the strongest technical program we've
ever offered," says David Steinhardt, president and CEO of IDEAlliance.
"We're particularly excited about the new 'town hall' meetings,
a provocative, first-time offering. Participants will have the chance
both to learn from XML's leading lights and express their own views
and concerns--all in a vibrant, dynamic setting."
Participants
in XML 2001 can take advantage of a variety of learning formats,
including technical sessions, keynote addresses, plenary sessions,
informal business receptions, discussion groups and social events.
XML 2001 will also feature more than 60 providers of XML-based products
and services offering hands-on demonstrations and displays December
11 through 13. Pre-conference tutorials--half-day seminars devoted
to single topics--will also be featured for end-users with varying
acquaintance with the major XML-based tools and products
Breakthrough
technologies will be featured in "late-breaking news" sessions throughout
the event. "The 'late-breaking news' sessions are up-to-the-minute
presentations," says conference chair Lauren Wood, director of product
technology at SoftQuad Software. "These talks were finalized only
a month before the conference, so attendees will have a chance to
hear about the very latest technologies and XML solutions."
XML
2001 will attract hundreds of IT professionals, including applications
engineers, chief information officers, directors of e-business,
project managers and team leaders from Fortune 1000 corporations,
government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
XML
2001, produced by IDEAlliance--formerly the Graphic Communications
Association--will take place Sunday, December 9 through Friday,
December 14 at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, Florida,
USA.
Special
Conference Discounts available only until November 30 -- Participants
