Arbortext's Epic Editor v4.2

Arbortext is providing the XML 2001 Conference authors with a 90 day trial copy of its newest version of software, Epic Editor version 4.2. Epic Editor provides structured editing for authors producing single-source content that can be dynamically customized and automatically published to multiple media.

Epic Editor version 4.2 runs on Windows NT 4.0, 95, 98, 2000 and Sun Solaris 7, 8. Minimum systems requirements are Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT 4.0/SP5 or later with Pentium CPU, 64MG RAM, and 109MB disk space or Sun Solaris 7, 8 with 32MB RAM and 180MB disk space.

HyperVision's WorX SE v2.1

HyperVision is providing the XML 2001 Conference authors with a 90 day trial copy of its newest version of software, WorX SE Version 2.1. WorX SE provides structured editing within Microsoft Word 2000 for authors producing single-source content that can be dynamically customized and automatically published to multiple media.

WorX SE version 2.1 runs on Windows NT 4.0, 95, 98, ME and 2000. Minimum systems requirements are Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT 4.0 with Pentium 166 CPU, 64MG RAM, and Microsoft Word 2000.

To download a copy of WorX SE, go to http://www.hvltd.com/register.asp and enter the information. Enter XMLFL01 in the Group Code to receive a key to install the software. You will need to download WorX SE 2.1, XML2001Files.zip customizations files and instructions (404kb pdf). For authors using international characters, there is a link to download MS Arial Unicode font. There is also a link to the Adobe PDF reader.
